Capt. Stephen Birch
I’m Capt. Stephen Birch, but most folks just call me Capt. Steve. I run All Around Adventure Fishing Charters right here in beautiful Key West, FL. With 7 years of experience as a licensed captain and a lifetime of fishing memories, I’m passionate about sharing the thrill of the Florida Keys’ waters with my guests.
I grew up in Alexandria, VA, but my love for fishing started during family trips to New Jersey. Those early days on the water sparked something in me, and after high school, I decided to make it more than a hobby—I made it my career. I cut my teeth working on commercial fishing boats, learning the ropes, and mastering the techniques that I use every day as a charter captain.
There’s nothing I enjoy more than creating unforgettable experiences for my clients. Whether we’re chasing sailfish and sharks offshore, exploring the mangroves, or targeting tarpon under the moonlight (my personal favorite), every trip is designed to match your interests and skill level. Safety and fun are my top priorities, and I make sure every outing is as exciting as it is memorable.
I’m also tournament-tested and love the challenge of competing, which keeps my skills sharp and my passion for fishing alive. Capt. John Guieb
I’m Capt. John Guieb, but most people just call me Capt. JJ. Born and raised here in Key West, the ocean’s been my playground for as long as I can remember. Growing up, if I wasn’t fishing, I was exploring the reefs or just soaking in the magic of these waters. It didn’t take long to realize the sea wasn’t just where I felt at home—it’s where I’m meant to be.
Life’s taken me on some wild rides. I’ve spent over a decade as a firefighter and paramedic, and I’ve trained in everything from hazmat to urban rescue. But no matter what I was doing, I always found my way back to the water. Eventually, I turned my love for fishing and being on a boat into the best career I could imagine.
These days, I’m out on Heavy Hitter—my pride and joy—helping folks like you discover the thrill of Key West fishing. Whether we’re chasing big game offshore, like a massive Warsaw grouper, or just cruising the turquoise waters, my goal is simple: make sure you have the time of your life. I’ll share my favorite secret spots, teach you about the incredible marine life around us, and hopefully, help you reel in a story worth telling.

Hey y’all, I’m Capt. Blake, and I’m here to help you create an unforgettable adventure on the water! Growing up, fishing wasn’t just a hobby—it was my whole world. I’d spend every chance I got chasing bass or spearfishing, even skipping school just to be out there. From the very beginning, I knew the ocean wasn’t just where I wanted to be—it’s where I needed to be.
After high school, I packed my bags and headed to the Florida Keys to follow my passion. I studied marine environmental technology at the local college, focusing on research scuba diving and ornamental aquaculture. After graduation, I got a dream job diving for researchers and aquariums, learning firsthand about underwater habitats and marine life. That experience deepened my love for the ocean and taught me so much I now get to share with my guests.
Eventually, I found myself fishing every single day and knew I had to turn it into my career. From rod and reel to fly fishing, spearfishing, and everything in between, I’ve done it all—and I love it all. Whether you’re chasing a trophy catch or just soaking up the beauty of the Keys, my mission is to make your trip exciting, memorable, and totally stress-free.
